GOP Charms At Anti-Stimulus Rally

We’re collecting reports and photos from the Colorado GOP protest rally against President Obama’s signing of the stimulus bill, held today at the Capitol.

We’re expecting some video and other highlights from the event, but a couple of people have already sent us photos of this colorful guy and his swell little sign:

As you can see, he’s really proud of the sign. Bit of a walking, talking poster child for Godwin’s Law though, isn’t he? And just so you don’t think he was some unrepresentative nutcase or liberal agent provocateur, there he is getting his photo taken with Michelle Malkin. Evidently, she found it to be a hoot.

UPDATE: “Swastika Guy” seems to be making his way into the wild with an embarrassing quickness. Media Matters (DC office) got it after a minute:

Ohhhh, wait a minute.  I get it.  The man with the sign isn’t professing his affinity for Nazis.  He isn’t even identifying himself as a Nazi.  The swastika in question has a circle around it forming an O and the rest of the sign reads “BAMA”.  Get it?  Obama is a Nazi.  That’s much better.  Sigh.
